Breakfast Room
We haven't done anything to our kitchen since we moved in except replace the appliances and decorate. We still want to paint the walls and cabinets, get a new sink, replace counters, backsplash and flooring, and add crown molding. Maybe this year?
I love my succulents on the window sills

Complete Reading Room with bookcase
Sauder
Select 5-Shelf Bookcase, Chalked Chestnut Finish from Walmart.
Kohls has the
same bookcase, but even after applying several coupons, Walmart was still
cheaper.
The storage bin is from Wayfair.
We keep the guest pillows and blankets neatly stored inside.
Floral print chair is from Pier1
Beautiful light all day
Picture frames are from AtHome and candle stand is from Kirklands
Mosaic floral night light from QVC
I really enjoy this pretty night light. When I get up in the middle of the
night or early morning it's the perfect amount of light.
Hubby and me have
been determined to eliminate clutter. It's amazing how much two people
and three dogs can accumulate in 10 years. Hubby is definitely more of
the type A neat freak. I'm more of a clutter bug who gets random bursts
of energy. He has taught me a lot when it comes to getting rid of
things.
Rug is from Wayfair and the sofa bed is from Rooms To Go
Lamp is from Kirklands and throw pillows are from Kohls
Rustic wood wall art from Hobby Lobby Online
Paint color: Behr Burnished Clay
JUST FOR FUN:
He loves the view!
You'd think this was his room lol
(Please excuse the napkin he was chewing.)

Freshening up the old office with Behr's Burnished Clay
Hubby and I spent the weekend freshening up our old office. We've been in a season of decluttering. We continue to fill up boxes and drop them off at Goodwill. How can two people accumulate so much stuff? I haven't used this space as an office in years. It's more of a prayer and reading room for me. This is where you'll find me at 2am or 3am praying, thinking, writing. I moved my desk to my Master bedroom and placed it in front of a window with a beautiful view to our fountain and birds who enjoy it.
The new paint color for our front room is Burnished Clay by Behr.
My hubby. I think the hardest part about painting is all the prep work. Removing socket covers, wall art and hooks. Then patching up holes etc. It's always worth it in the end.
It feels light and bright now
The final look!
I love reading in here on a sunny day and praying in here in the evenings.

Updated: Picture wall accent
I've changed the center accent wall art several times. I think I finally found something that sits well with me.

Christmas 2018 & 2019
Yikes! Christmas 2016 was the last Christmas I shared! Here is a flashback to Christmas 2018 and 2019. Sorry if the pictures seem a bit blurry and yellow. I copied them from my hubby's Facebook album and some quality was lost in the process.
Our Basset Hound, Winston
Our niece and nephew on my hubby's side. We enjoyed having them over for their 8th annual Christmas sleep over. We play games and do crafts. It's a fun time for everyone.
